One of the objectives of Project ARC is to develop and maintain a national resource that will provide support the research data management (RDM) planning in Canada. The aim is provide information about research data management in both French and English for librarians and researchers in Canada.
The content will draw on the array of resources developed in Canada and internationally and point users to the most up-to-date, relevant and trusted sources. It will include “how to” guides, case studies, training materials and links to other important resources. The resources will fall into four major categories:
- Why research data management?
- Support for the delivery of data management plans
- Training resources
- Other initiatives
The goal is to launch the official resource in the fall of 2014. In the meantime, as information is identified it will be made available through this Project ARC site.
